20th years of helping people find what they are looking for.

Today is the 20th anniversary of the world's largest search engine!

With the celebration of it like other special events, Google has a special Google logo, Doodle. In the remembrance of the day they launced with a video of someone searching "What is Google?" with their original Google.com, you will take a stroll down their memory lane of the most popular searches all over the world throughout the last two decades.

Here's what Google wrote:

Twenty (ish 😉) years ago, two Stanford Ph.D. students launched a new search engine with a bold mission to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful. Though much has changed in the intervening years—including now offering Search in more than 150 languages and over 190 countries—Google is still dedicated to building products for everyone.

In the end of the video Doodle, you will see that Google is saying thanks to us but in fact, we are the one who should be thanking them for the last twenty years for making it seemlessly for us to reach the ever expanding whole wide world of the internet in search of the things we are looking for.

Wrap Up

Google has become a part of our online daily lives specially if there is something you wanted to find out, you just got to Google it up!

Google as a search engine has become more like of a person to me, a friend whom I can always count on for information, ideas, inspirations, tools and so much more. Like other technology stuff, I can't imagine life with out the world's largest search engine, Google.

My most favorite search was "is pluto still a planet?" because, heck, I grew up knowing that it was a planet. Now, my childhood memory was ruin but still a good thing since I can now teach my future kids with more appropriate information.

Thanks Google and happy birthday, too!
